Silvis Garden Club was established in 2001 under the sponsorship of the City of Silvis Playground and Recreation Board. We are a non-profit organization. There are currently 50 members from Silvis, East Moline, Colona, Port Byron, Hampton, Geneseo, Preemption, and Andalusia, with broad and diverse backgrounds ranging from Master Gardeners to Novices.

Monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the McGehee Center, Silvis, IL at 6:30 p.m. Visitors are welcome. The meetings in June, July, and August are held at member's home gardens to share and get inspirations to take home and use.

Membership in this organization is available to any individual interested in learning, promoting, education, and developing interest in horticulture and conservation. Annual dues are $7/single, $11/couple.
